NCC Vo-Tech Vaccinates 450 During In-School Clinics

Giving back sometimes comes in surprising ways.  Jeff Perrone is a Class of 2008 Delcastle Chem Lab graduate.  He also is the Rite Aid pharmacist who came with the Rite Aid team to vaccinate students and their families at the Delcastle COVID vaccination clinic held May 18 in the school gymnasium.  Jeff said it was the first time he had been back to his school.  "When I saw the schedule of clinics and saw Delcastle listed for this week, I signed up," he said.  "I thought it would be great to be able to do this at my old high school."  We think so too, Jeff! In addition to the pharmacy staff, 30 NCC Vo-Tech health careers and other students helped to check in and monitor participants at all NCC Vo-Tech school-based clinics at which a total of 450 were vaccinated. First Student, one of NCC Vo-Tech’s bus contractors, donated the services of a shuttle bus to transport Howard students who had signed up to receive a vaccine at the Delcastle clinic.  All of #NCCVTWorks together to care for our community.Pharmacist giving vaccine
