Weekly Update - February 22

Hello Delcastle Families:

It’s a great day to be a cougar at Delcastle, fifty years of building the state and global Workforce.

There will be no school on Monday, February 15th in observance of President’s Day. Our regular schedule will resume on Tuesday, February 16th with our Sophomore Hybrid Day.

New Castle County is committed to supporting students pursuing undergraduate college degrees with scholarships to help defray their educational costs. This program will offer awards in increments of $1,000 to $3,000. All New Castle County residents currently enrolled or who will attend an accredited College or University in the Fall of 2021 are eligible. See the flyer attached below. In addition, click on the link for a list of other scholarship opportunities available to our 2021 Graduating Class.

The Delcastle Wellness Center extends an invitation to the Delcastle Staff, Students, and Families to a Christiana Care School-Based Health Centers on-line seminar. The topic of the seminar will relate to youth trauma. It is open to the public, so please share with anyone that may be directly impacted by trauma. See the flyer attached to this week’s email for additional information.
