so the idea of the principal for the day is to really connect business partners with schools to ensure that there's opportunities for students to connect with Envy rules in the history and really kind of learn and also for not seeing for myself to learn from those industry Partners this became more than that for us it was more about looking at this from a very intentional and that is Workforce Development and we know that the state Sabres all about Workforce Development the partnership board is really about looking at how do we create the synergies with education and so part of that principal for a Day program enables Business Leaders to come in and that if we're trying to improve and be a part of how we do education a little bit different and more efficient and better to improve educational outcomes it's good for the business Community to see what that looks like in real time you do a lot of times when stop building pipeline for different organizations we probably just stopped at the Collegiate level so being able to come to the high school level and really being able to be exposed to students at this caliber at this level really helped us to think Broadwater will you be able to get it is excited about a career in healthcare and of course at Oregon Health Care is not just on the medical side but what other aspects can use if they're really being able to see hope respective bases what exactly is out there and how we can leverage the skills and talents to be able to do that I thought for the day is a great program and I really encourage everyone who has an opportunity to participate cuz you really get a chance to meet wonderful students as well as being able to be exposed to Great program that maybe you were aware of or aren't aware of and it really helps to broaden your perspective the State Chamber of Commerce has been essential to ensuring that we build these positive relationships with our business partners without their strategic planning in terms of what this principle for the day on this pain should be would not be leaving this day with the partnership and with ideas for how we're going to build the capacity of our students and really get them into the workforce to so I'm extremely grateful for this experience and experience has been a great part 2
