All guests must have tickets to attend the Delcastle Graduation Ceremony.
Delcastle Technical High School will hold its Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday, May 27 at University of Delaware's Bob Carpenter Center. The Ceremony begins promptly at 1:30 p.m. All guests of our graduates will be required to have a ticket to enter the Ceremony. Here are some helpful tips for those planning to attend this year's ceremony:
You must have a ticket.
Our Graduation Ceremony is a ticketed event. Everyone attending must have a ticket. No one will be admitted without a ticket.
Ticket Information
- Each Delcastle graduate will receive 8 (eight) tickets for Graduation. These tickets will be distributed at the Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal and Senior Sendoff on Tuesday, May 19, 9:00 a.m.
- Tickets will only be handed to Delcastle seniors participating in the Graduation Ceremony. Graduation Tickets will not be given to any other person.
- Extra Tickets: Graduates will have an opportunity to purchase up to 3 additional tickets prior to the Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal. Each additional ticket is $5.00. More information about how to purchase extra tickets will be published on Schoology in early May. The extra tickets will be included with their initial 8 tickets at the Graduation Rehearsal.
- If there are still extra tickets remaining, they will be sold first-come, first-serve at the Graduation Rehearsal. We will not know how many extra tickets remain until mid-May. Please do not message. Updates will be provided on Schoology.
What to Expect When You Arrive as a Guest
- Doors open for guests at 12:30 p.m. The Ceremony begins at 1:30 p.m.
- All guests will be required to go through security before entering the Bob Carpenter Center. Security is handled by the University of Delaware.
- Leave balloons, noisemakers, and posters in your vehicle. The Bob Carpenter Center does not permit any of these items.
- Special seating has been reserved for our guests who require extra assistance. Graduates can pick up a complimentary seating pass for their ticketed guests by requesting through our Google Form that will be posted, at Graduation Rehearsal, or at the High School Office. These seats are only for those with guests with disabilities. THIS IS NOT A TICKET TO ENTER GRADUATION. Guests will need BOTH a graduation ticket and seating pass.

Information for Delcastle Graduates
Arrive to the Bob Carpenter Center at 12:30 p.m.
Leave your purse/bag in your vehicle. We will not have anywhere safe to store your bag/purse. Please do not bring it in.
Dress Code
- Undecorated cap with tassel and Graduation Gown
- Formal Attire Required. Shirt, tie, dress pants, dress or skirt, proper dress shoes.
- No flip flops or crocs permitted.
- Only approved sashes you can wear: Military, CTSO (SkillsUSA, HOSA, BPA, EdRising, or DECA), National Honor Society. No custom sashes permitted.
- You will receive a stole when you arrive.
Professional Photographs
- Legacy Studios will be taking professional photographs at our Senior Recognition Ceremony, Prom, and Graduation.
- Go to https://legacyeventphotos.shop/f973438739 and enter our Delcastle code: 450126.
- Please note that if your images have not uploaded to the site yet, when entering that code, you'll receive a 'Gallery not found' notification. Please allow 5 to 7 days after Graduation before trying to access your images to avoid any frustration.
- All ordered graduation pictures will be shipped directly home, not returned to the school. Pre-ordering is not available for graduation portraits.
