Senior Class of 2025 Information

Mandatory Senior Graduation Meeting - Tuesday, April 29, 8:15 a.m.
What are senior dues? 
--Every senior is responsible for paying $170 senior dues. Delcastle senior dues include:
     *Yearbook
     *Senior Class T-Shirt
     *Senior Drawstring Bag
     *Senior Sendoff Celebration at Graduation Rehearsal
     *Graduation Yard Sign
     *Graduation gown, hood, cap (2 caps: 1 to decorate, 1 that must remain clean), and tassel
 
When do I receive my senior items?
--Your Graduation Kit (gown, hood, caps, and tassel) arrive by late April. They will be distributed once they are delivered to the school during your lunch.
--The remaining items will be distributed at your Senior Sendoff following your Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 beginning at 8:45 a.m. 
 
Failure to pay your Senior Dues will prevent you from buying tickets for Winter Ice Ball, Prom, or attending Graduation.

Did you miss Senior Portraits? If you still did not get your senior photos taken, you can go directly to the studio to have your senior portraits taken. Make your senior portrait appointment here to go directly to the studio:
- In the Delcastle gymnasium.
- Seniors eat "A" Lunch @ 11:17 a.m., then go to career area at 12:00 p.m.
- Career Areas will line up at 12:30 p.m.
- Ceremony begins at 1:00 p.m.
- Formal attire is required.
- 2 guest tickets per senior will be distributed at your Mandatory Senior Meeting in April 2025. Unfortunately, there are NO exceptions.
- Wear your graduation gown and your decorated cap. 
- Location: Executive Banquet and Conference Center in Newark, DE
- Tickets will go on sale in April 2025.
- This event is for Delcastle Seniors and one guest. Similar to Homecoming, guest forms must be completed in advance of the Prom.
- Dress Code: Formal. Tuxedo, shirt/tie, dress pants, dress, dress shoes. No jeans, dirty sneakers, flip-flops, or slides are permitted.
- Prom King and Queen nominations and voting will take place in late April/early May 2025.
  • We begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. You will need time to check-in, so please arrive by 8:45 a.m.
  • Wear your decorated cap and a shirt that represents what you'll be doing in the fall (college, military, work)
  • After Rehearsal, you will walk the halls for the last time as a Delcastle Technical High School student in the Senior Send-off Parade.
  • Rehearsal will be followed by your Senior Sendoff in the Delcastle Stadium. You will receive your (8) graduation tickets, drawstring bag, yearbook, senior t-shirt, and graduation yard sign.
Graduation 2025
- Location: University of Delaware Bob Carpenter Center.
- Students report to the University of Delaware at 12:30 p.m.
- Dress Code: shirt/tie, dress slacks, dress, dress shoes. No slides, flip-flops, or sneakers will be permitted.
- Wear your Graduation Gown, Cap, Stole, and Tassel. Your cap must not have any decoration on it!
- Acceptable medallions and sashes: SkillsUSA, HOSA, BPA, Honor Society, Student Council, Athletic medallions, Military sash.
- 8 tickets per student will be distributed. If you would like to purchase additional tickets, information will be shared in May 2025 via Schoology.
