Team Delcastle Enjoys Success at 2025 SkillsUSA National Leadership Conference

Dominating the Delaware Stage

At the 2025 SkillsUSA Delaware State Leadership Conference, Delcastle students earned 81 medals, with 31 students capturing 1st Place titles, qualifying them to represent Delaware at the national level. Champions emerged across a wide range of career and technical areas—from Building Maintenance and Community Service to Welding, Screen Printing, Cabinetmaking, Prepared Speech, and Job Skill Demonstration.

  • First Place in Computer Programming: William Morris

  • First Place in Collision Repair Technology: Andres Velazquez

  • First Place in Welding Fabrication (Team): Jesus Cortes Flores, Joseph Pizano, Victor Trujillo-Cira

In addition, our Quiz Bowl team, consisting of seven students, took 1st Place, demonstrating strong teamwork and technical knowledge across all trades.

Shining on the National Stage in Atlanta

Following their state-level success, 32 Delcastle students traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to represent Delaware at the 2025 SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC). Competing against the best of the best from across the nation, Team Delcastle delivered outstanding performances.
