• Create individual and group art projects using a variety of mediums

• Contribute to schoolwide murals, displays, posters, and hallway art

• Showcase your work in community exhibits or school galleries

• Collaborate with the Student Activities Office and SkillsUSA to enter state and national-level art-based competitions, including:

SkillsUSA Creative Design Competitions:
Art Club members are encouraged to prepare and submit entries for the following events through SkillsUSA Delcastle:

• Promotional Bulletin Board:
  Design and construct a tri-panel board promoting SkillsUSA’s mission, theme, and school chapter involvement. Judged on creativity, theme clarity, and visual impact.

• T-Shirt Design:
  Create the official T-shirt design for SkillsUSA Delaware. The winning design is worn by all state competitors at the national conference.

• Pin Design:
  Design a custom trading pin that represents Delaware. Finalists are recognized statewide and the selected design is produced for trading at the national conference.

• Chapter Display:
  Work as a team to build a themed, freestanding display that represents Delcastle’s SkillsUSA chapter accomplishments and initiatives. Judged on artistic design, craftsmanship, and alignment with SkillsUSA’s mission.

These competitions blend visual design, technical skill, and branding—perfect for students interested in graphic design, marketing, fine arts, and creative production.
